Preach Sunday Morning
By God’s grace, I have been invited to fill some of the most strategic pulpits in the nation. Most often, I preach the sermon, “Could this be the Revival Generation?” Occasionally a sermon seems destined to be preached many times (Payday Someday, Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God, etc). Similarly, churches across the nation continue to request the sermon on the revival generation. Many church members and students do not know that God has almost always empowered young people to launch major revivals and awakenings. In addition, church members often do not know what God is doing among students today that might be a sign of coming revival. And certainly, most church members do not know what specifically must be done to raise the sails – both personally and corporately – for revival to permeate students, the church, and culture. God has given us a powerful way to climax the service, with all students in the altar for consecration and intercession by the congregation. Tears are common. Student ministers tell me that months later they still can sense intensified support for their student ministry from church members who now have a vision for this generation.
