Dr. Jennings Speaks To Wyoming Businesses
Tommy Brann hosted a business lunch at Branns Catering for the business community to hear what ACTION is doing in our community. Several speakers preceded Dr. Jennings, Jon Felske, Wyoming School Superintendent, Curtis Holt, Wyoming City Manager, Wyoming Police Chief Carmody and others.
ACTION is asking for the financial and volunteer support to serve the students of Wyoming.

Wyoming Student Journalers Celebrate at Brann's Restaurant
On May 29, Tommy Brann of Brann's Steakhouse & Grill, hosted a celebration dinner for students who have been journaling In February 2007, Dr. Jennings challenged students to write their story after seeing Freedom Writers at Studio 28. Dr. Jennings In Wyoming May 27-June 2
ACTION's Phase 3 with Dr. Jennings opened with aprayer time at Rogers Heights CRC Church.
During the following 6 days he spoke/visited students at a Godwin High School classroom, Godwin Learning Center, Godwin Middle School, Godfrey-Lee Middle School, ACTION Launch Lunch, Business Lunch Senior Pastors Breakfast and the Wyoming Journalers dinner. He met with a group at The Next Step Ministries, spoke at Bethel Abundant Life Church, The Hub Church, Kent County Prison and The Extreme Tour at Rogers High School parking lot.
There have been many new relationships formed that will impact positively ACTION's service to the Wyoming Community and Students.

ACTION HISTORY
ACTION - Assisting Challenged In Our Neighborhood. Our mission is to provide faith-based outreach and intervention along with community partners in Wyoming. It began in November 2007 when Dr. Joseph Jennings presented his assembly CHOICES to 6000 students in schools and another 1000 in other settings. Overwhelming response from students because of his message highlighted the urgent need for listening, support and answers for our teenagers. 168 students wrote Dr. Jennings letters, 40-50 students stayed after each assembly to talk about their issues - a total of 300 over the week. Carol Kids Now Reach 200 members
