BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING
ESTHER 4:7-14

It is both an honor and privilege that we give God thanks for you as we move forward in our new season.  We're excited about the vision God has given Pastor K and Pastor Queen as we take our Youth Ministry to the next level…being a blessing to others!  The FCC Youth Ministry Vision is clear: We’re working together bringing Youth to God by evangelizing Christ!  The mission statement is even clearer: The Youth Ministry is committed to Reproduce disciples for Christ out of unbelieving youth, Rebuild their spiritual life, help increase their faith to Reverence God through Relationship, and care for others through Restoration.  Our passion is to teach every saved youth and reach every unsaved youth by any means necessary!  We need you to help set a new standard for serving and show others the different ways they can express their love and commitment to the Lord.

We encourage everyone to know and live out our annual youth theme, “Blessed to be a Blessing,” taken from Esther 4:7-14 and watch God bless you!

We started the year hype with a powerful youth revival featuring messages from Pastor Larry Paige, Minister. Bruce Goodwin, and Elder Peyton Gray.  And even though we have bible study teachers and ministry leaders, you are the ones who are actually put in a position to share the message of Jesus the Christ and be an example in front of your peers.  That's what blessing others is all about, knowing that you have to make a decision, knowing that you have to act regardless of your limitations, and knowing that you have to act regardless of the risk.  I know some of you feel like as long as you come to church on Sunday and Wednesday that's good enough, but guess what, God is expecting more from you.  So how can you do more and be a blessing to someone else?  It’s easy, you show and tell others that you are not perfect, but you have a perfect God that has your back as you continue to face your own challenges.  Then, you let them know God wants to have their back too, regardless of their past.

Know that God has already given you everything you need to help others and God won't take you where he hasn't prepared you.  Like the book of Esther says, "who knows that you were put in such a position, for such a time as this."  And for those youth have not accepted Christ as your personal Savior yet, we offer Christ to you today!  Join our Youth Ministry Team and help us deliver God’s message of love, hope, and deliverance, but with new flavor!

Your Servant Leader,

Pastor Darrell

7 Mordecai told Hathach everything that had happened to him, including the exact amount of money Haman had promised to pay into the royal treasury for the destruction of the Jews. 8 He also gave him a copy of the text of the edict for their annihilation, which had been published in Susa, to show to Esther and explain it to her, and Mordecai told him to urge Esther to go into the king's presence to beg for mercy and plead with him for her people.

9 Hathach went back and reported to Esther what Mordecai had said. 10 Then she instructed him to say to Mordecai, 11 "All the king's officials and the people of the royal provinces know that for any man or woman who approaches the king in the inner court without being summoned the king has but one law: that he be put to death. The only exception to this is for the king to extend the gold scepter to him and spare his life. But thirty days have passed since I was called to go to the king."

12 When Esther's words were reported to Mordecai, 13 he sent back this answer: "Do not think that because you are in the king's house you alone of all the Jews will escape. 14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?"
