Missions Trips and Monthly Service  
 

We believe that there are few opportunities that will inspire a teenager in his or her faith more than the chance to serve the Lord in his or her own community or in a cross cultural setting. It opens their eyes to a world that really needs Jesus!

Some past Jr. High opportunities have been: Los Angeles Inner City Trip, Inner City San Diego, Inner City San Fransico, Inner City Seattle, Sacramento Service Days, & 30 Hour Famine.

Spring Break 2008 we will be heading to Inner City Los Angeles for our 12th year.  March 16-22.  Application and Sunday afternoon training is required.  Cost will be approximately $300.  More details to come. To find out more about our ministry partner for this trip visit www.csm.org

Union Gospel Mission

We serve the second Wednesday of the month at the Sacramento Union Gospel Mission serving meals to the poor and homeless.  We meet at the church at 6:30 and return by 9:45pm.  If you are interested in serving please sign-up at FUEL.  For more info on Union Gospel Mission visit their website at www.onecaringperson.org

Serve at The Meadows-

The Meadows is an "Active Senior Living" residential facility here in Elk Grove.  We serve the residents every other month by leading worship and sharing God's word and love with them.  It's a great way for you to get out of your comfort zone by hanging out and serving some very kind people who may not get to go to church on a regular basis.
