God has been good to the people of First Baptist Church of Elk Grove. It began all the way back in 1924, located in Franklin, CA (West of Elk Grove - near Laguna). In 1948 the church moved to Locust Street in Elk Grove.

In 1987 the church purchased 27+ acres at its present location with the first phase multi-purpose facility completed and occupied in January, 1994. Our second phase building (which includes classrooms and a chapel) was completed March 2001.

First Baptist is affiliated with the Northern California Association of North American Baptists www.nabconference.org

Today we are a growing multi-generational and multi-ethnic group of believers in the heart of Elk Grove.

Our Jr. High Ministry reaches hundreds of students each year and First Baptist provides opportunities for all life stages. For more church information visit our website at www.fbceg.org
